Another quick post here of something that entered my mind… what will the world look like in 20-30 years in regards to the influence of technology? Namely, robots.
We already know self-driving cars are a thing. And they more than likely will become mandated (due to being safer statistically) in the not too distant future.
5G is slowly but surely coming into play. How long until robots perform surgery on us? Or, at the very least, a surgeon across the world can operate on you in real-time through increased 5G proficiency.
Does this excite you, or scare you? For me, it’s a little bit of both.
I’m missing many sects of our society that could be taken over by robots in our lifetime. Heck, everything could be eventually. While this may be more proficient and cutting-edge, at what point does it become too much? At what point are humans not required to work?
With no work and no money being made, how are we to support ourselves?
One thing is for certain: the technological advancements in the 21st century have been astounding. But really, I believe they have just begun.
What comes to fruition over the next 80 years will be life-changing for civilization as we know it.. buckle up.
